Cobblers and Coffee

The year is 2104. Martin Nowell and Richard Brookland work for the Time Enforcement Commission (TEC) established to police the use of time travel.

They were sent back to 2018 Plymouth to prevent their former partner from using knowledge of the future to financially benefit in the past.

Attempting to return to 2104 Martin and Richard find that their time machine has malfunctioned leaving them stranded in the past. Aware that one of the few web sites to survive the great knowledge purge of 2022 was Shop4Plymouth, Martin and Richard devised a plan to be listed on the website and send out a message to the future in order to arrange a rescue.

In order to be listed of Shop4Plymouth Martin and Richard started Cobblers and Coffee Plymouths/ the World’s first combined Cobbling and Coffee shop. Launching September 2018 Cobblers and Coffee originally offered excellent Coffee and Cakes with traditional Cobbling and Key Cutting but soon included delicious Milkshakes and Smoothies to their repertoire. Following an enquiry from a customer about repairing Climbing Shoes the boys threw themselves into the study of Climbing Rubber and the process of Climbing Shoe repair they have become one of only a few places in the UK that are able to repair and resole Climbing Shoes.

Until their future saviours arrive Martin and Rich are planning on staying in Plymouth and keeping the good people of the city Shoed, Coffeed and all Keyed up.
